Two plugins. Two completely different flavors of character.
Give your tracks more depth, weight, grit, and personality with the Carve Audio Character Bundle. The Character Bundle combines Forge and Gas Can Amp, two plugins designed to add completely different kinds of color to your sound.
Forge
Forge is a transformer and tube tone shaper designed to add the depth, density, and movement associated with analog hardware. At the heart of Forge are three different transformer flavors: - Nickel for a cleaner, more open sound - Iron for a more aggressive, mid-forward character - Steel for thicker lows and low-mids with a darker tone From there, you can drive the transformer and tube stages to move from subtle analog color into richer saturation. Use Forge on individual tracks, buses, or your full mix when things feel close but are still missing that sense of depth, dimension, weight, and polish.
Gas Can Amp
Gas Can Amp is based on a rare little guitar amp known as The Can, but it’s definitely not just a guitar plugin. Its small, gritty amp circuit gives you a completely different kind of character than Forge, adding raw saturation, aggression, lo-fi texture, and attitude. Use it on guitars for rough, aggressive amp tones, or run drums through it for extra dirt and excitement. Add edge to bass, turn vocals into something more blown-out or megaphone-like, or give keys, synths, percussion, and effects more personality. You can use it subtly to add a little texture, or push it harder when you want a sound to feel completely transformed.
Better Together
Forge and Gas Can Amp aren’t two versions of the same thing. That’s the point. Reach for Forge when you want warmth, depth, weight, and polished analog character. Reach for Gas Can Amp when you want something rawer, dirtier, and more aggressive. Or combine the two when you want even more color and personality. Two different flavors. One goal: make your tracks more exciting.
