End User License Agreement
Last updated 4 November 2026
This End User License Agreement (the "Agreement") is a legal agreement between you (the "End User") and Audioloom, Inc. ("Audioloom") for each software product you obtain through Audioloom, such as an audio plugin (the "Software"), made by the creator named on its product page and in its installer (the "Creator"). By installing, activating or using the Software, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
1. License grant
Subject to this Agreement, Audioloom grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software for personal or commercial music and audio production, for as long as you hold a valid license for it.
- Each license can be activated on up to 3 devices you own or control at a time, provided only one person uses the Software at a time.
- A trial license lets you evaluate the Software on one device for the trial period shown, after which the Software stops working until you buy a license.
- A tester license, given to beta testers by the Creator, is for testing the Software for the Creator. It may not be sold or transferred.
The Software includes the product itself and any related files, presets, samples, documentation, and updates or modifications provided by Audioloom or the Creator. You own the audio you create with the Software, and no royalties are due on it.
2. Ownership and intellectual property
The Software is licensed, not sold. All rights, title and interest in the Software are owned by Audioloom and/or the Creator. You may not claim ownership of any part of it, including its interface, signal processing or underlying architecture.
Audioloom distributes the Software on behalf of the Creator and is the sole licensing party. The Creator keeps ownership of its plugin designs and intellectual property.
3. Account, activation and license checks
You need an Audioloom account to activate the Software. Every purchase, whether made on www.audioloom.com or through a Creator's own website, goes through the Audioloom platform and is sold to you by Moonbase AS or Moonbase LLC as Audioloom's reseller and merchant of record. Your account lets you activate and manage your licenses, receive updates and get support, and you will be asked to sign in to it when you activate the Software.
The Software checks its license with Audioloom from time to time. You may need to activate it again after significant changes to your system. Downloads and license details are also available through Creator websites that use Audioloom.
4. Permitted uses
- Use the Software in music or audio production for personal or commercial purposes.
- Install it on the devices allowed by your license.
- Keep backup copies of the installer for archival purposes.
5. Restrictions
You may not:
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive the source code or inner workings of the Software, except to the extent the law allows despite this restriction;
- copy, share, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute or sell the Software;
- get around activation limits, license checks or copy protection;
- use the Software to create derivative or competing products;
- transfer your license to another person or entity without Audioloom's written permission;
- sell or give away a computer with the Software installed, unless the Software has first been completely removed.
6. Updates and compatibility
Audioloom and the Creator may, but are not obliged to, provide updates or bug fixes. Compatibility with your DAW or operating system is not guaranteed, and you are responsible for checking it before you buy.
7. Discontinued products
If the Creator withdraws the Software from sale, ends its relationship with Audioloom or ceases operations, Audioloom will notify you. Your license continues, and updates and support continue for 6 months after the withdrawal. After that, they may end.
8. Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you fail to comply with it, and your license is revoked if your order is refunded or charged back. When it terminates, you must stop using the Software and destroy all copies in your possession.
9. Support
Support is provided at Audioloom's and the Creator's discretion and may be limited in scope or duration, subject to section 7.
10. Privacy and data
When you activate the Software and when it checks its license, it connects to Audioloom. Audioloom then receives the device's name, a device identifier the Software derives from your computer, the product and license, and the IP address it connects from, from which Audioloom derives an approximate location. The license file stored on your device contains your name and email address.
If the Software crashes, it may send a crash report, which can include your operating system version, CPU type, hardware model, the Software's version and an anonymous device identifier. The Software does not send your audio or projects.
This data is processed as described in the Audioloom Privacy Policy . The Software may also include anti-piracy mechanisms or watermarking, and Audioloom may use services that look for unauthorized copies of the Software online.
11. No warranties
To the extent the law allows, the Software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Audioloom and the Creator disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Audioloom and the Creator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, business interruption or data loss, arising from the use of or inability to use the Software. Audioloom's total liability under this Agreement is limited to the price you paid for the Software, excluding taxes.
Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
13. Export compliance
You agree to comply with all applicable US export and re-export laws and regulations. You may not use, export or re-export the Software to (a) any US-embargoed country or (b) any person or entity on the US Treasury Department's list of Specially Designated Nationals or the US Department of Commerce Denied Persons List. By using the Software, you represent that you are not located in any such country or on any such list.
14. Other terms
This Agreement forms part of the Audioloom Terms of Use , which cover your account, purchases and refunds. Moonbase's terms for buyers cover the sale and payment. If they conflict about your use of the Software, this Agreement applies.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and of the United States. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
15. Changes and general
Audioloom may update this Agreement. The current version is published here with its date, and applies from that date to your further use of the Software. If any provision is found unenforceable, it is limited to the extent necessary and the rest remain in effect. For questions about this Agreement, contact support@audioloom.com.
16. Third-party notices
The Software may include third-party components, such as open-source libraries, which are licensed under their own terms. The notices for them come with the Software's installer and documentation.
