Amber Chamber
Mix-Ready Vintage Chamber Reverb
Dirty in the right way. A character chamber reverb with the vibe of the iconic '60s and '70s studios, prepared for the mix but never sterile. Tempo-synced Parallel Tape Delay, built-in ducking, and Width from '60s mono to full stereo.
Vintage Chamber Character. The Right Kind of Dirty.
Amber Chamber is a character reverb with the chamber sound behind the iconic studios of the '60s and '70s.
It's prepared for the mix, but it isn't scrubbed sterile. Clean a chamber up too much and the retro vibe goes with it. Amber Chamber stays dirty in the right way. A Parallel Tape Delay sits in front of the chamber, one Width knob takes it from a narrow, almost-mono '60s sound to full stereo, and built-in ducking keeps the reverb out of the way of the dry signal.
See How Amber Chamber Works
Blend in the chamber with the big Mix knob, then shape it with Width, Delay and SC Comp.
Turn Width down for that narrow, almost-mono '60s sound, or open it up to full stereo. Set the Parallel Tape Delay with Delay Time and Delay Mix, and let SC Comp duck the reverb while the dry signal plays, with no extra routing. Nothing to set up. Just dial it in and mix.

Without Chamber Reverb, the Vibe Is Gone
Chamber reverb is a huge part of the magic behind legendary records.
The echo chambers of the iconic studios of the '60s and '70s shaped countless classics. Take that away and you lose more than space. You lose the character. Amber Chamber brings it back. It's a character reverb, and it's meant to sound like one: prepared for the mix, but never sterile.

The Chamber Sound, Ready for the Mix
Built for character, already prepared to drop into a mix.
A tempo-synced Parallel Tape Delay sits in front of the chamber. One Width knob takes the reverb from a narrow, almost-mono '60s sound to full stereo. SC Comp ducks the reverb while the dry signal is playing, so vocals and leads stay clear and the tail blooms in the gaps, and the GR meter shows how much it's working. Wet Only gives you 100% wet output for send/return channels.
Sound Examples
The Parallel Tape Delay
Picture it in analog: the send feeds a tape machine, the tape feeds the chamber, and two microphones capture the room in stereo.
Delay Time sets the delay in sync with your tempo, from 1/64 to a whole note. Delay Mix decides how much of the signal is delayed: all of it, or a parallel blend, so part of the sound hits the chamber instantly and the rest arrives a note later. Dirty, but mix-ready. Two complementary springs give this reverb a wide, lively stereo image, while tube and tape saturation add grit. Built-in ducking keeps it out of the way of the dry signal, and wet-only autopanning adds movement without extra routing. Turn Width to zero for classic mono.

Slap Happy delivers the classic slapback echo, tuned to sit in the mix from the first knob turn. Width opens the repeat into stereo, Ambience adds short reflections for a deep stereo image, and built-in sidechain compression ducks the echo while the dry signal is playing. The result is instant vintage depth — without clutter, mud, or endless tweaking.
