SubTec is Canvas Audio’s dedicated low-end sculptor. Built around the legendary vintage passive tube EQ's “Low End Trick,” it boosts and attenuates the same frequency at once, letting you add warmth, punch, and clarity to bass, kick, or your entire mix bus. One knob and you’re locked into the perfect low end.
Boost and attenuate in one move
Balancing low end can be tricky. But the SubTec's perfectly dialed in nature of the Boost/Atten knob keeps this genuine effect simple and lets you focus on using your ear to find the sweet spots. And with an extended and variable frequency range, you can dive into frequencies in between the original passive EQ units. And sometimes that magic happens in the in-between.

With multiple distortion options, SubTec makes anchoring your low end both fun and creative. In a single move, you can transform a weak, uneven bottom end into something focused, powerful, and harmonically rich, locking in one of the toughest frequency ranges with ease.

Hot or cool tube drive? Your call. Oversample up to 4x, mix it in, and lock down your low end. Once you’ve nailed it, save it as a preset or grab one of ours to get inspired!
