MENACE is a one-knob creative FX plugin built to drag ordinary sounds into darker territory. As the MENACE control rises, the signal progressively darkens, saturates, destabilises, widens and descends, introducing deep pitch-shifted character inspired by the possessed tonal treatment of Dark Authority. At lower settings, MENACE adds subtle shadow and weight. Push further and harmonics thicken, movement creeps in and the stereo image begins to spread. At maximum intensity, a deeper pitch-shifted layer gives the source an ominous, almost demonic presence while controlled filtering, saturation and clipping keep the transformation musical. Designed for melodies, pianos, bells, guitars, synths, samples, pads and vocals, MENACE gives producers instant access to a darker version of their sound without pages of controls.

The MENACE Control
As you turn the knob, multiple processing stages move together to create one continuous transformation.
MENACE CHARACTER 0–25% Subtle darkness and weight 25–50% Harmonic aggression and tonal corruption 50–75% Deeper character, movement and instability 75–100% Full sinister transformation The control is tuned so MENACE remains musical across its entire range rather than simply becoming increasingly distorted.
What MENACE Does
DARKEN MENACE gradually removes brightness and pulls the sound into a deeper tonal space. CORRUPT Focused saturation introduces density, grit and harmonic aggression without turning the source into uncontrolled distortion. DESCEND Deep pitch processing introduces the lower, ominous character that gives MENACE its unmistakable demonic weight. DESTABILISE Subtle modulation introduces movement and unease, making clean sounds feel increasingly warped and unpredictable. EXPAND The stereo image gradually opens as MENACE increases, allowing the transformed sound to become larger and more immersive.
