SpeakMix is a one-click voice processor for narration - podcasts, YouTube, voice-overs and video editing. It balances the tone of a spoken recording, adds gentle de-essing and light saturation, and sets a consistent loudness of -16 LUFS. A built-in limiter at -1 dB keeps the output from clipping. Two controls shape the result: the Voice Timber slider (darker < brighter) and the CLEAN knob, which tames room reverb and background noise.
One-Click Processing for Spoken Tracks
Podcasts, interviews, narration, voice-over, video editing — SpeakMix finishes a spoken track in one pass. Turn Calibration on, let six seconds of your recording play, and it sets the tone and the loudness for that voice: EQ, compression, gentle de-essing, light saturation, a steady −16 LUFS with a limiter at −1 dB. The target isn’t generic. A multiband stage matches your voice toward a reference curve built from a selection of high-end narration recordings — a specific balance of chest, midrange and air. No AI in the chain: traditional processing, driven by LUFS measured band by band. Then two controls to taste: CLEAN for room reverb and background hiss, Voice Timber for a brighter or deeper voice.
How It Works
1. Start playback, then turn Calibration on. 2. Let 6 seconds of continuous speech play (no long pauses). 3. Turn Calibration off — SpeakMix has adapted to that voice, and the setting is saved with your session. Fine-tune with two controls: CLEAN for room reverb and hiss, Voice Timber for dark or bright.
